Marriage and Divorce

When the war ended, Stalin sent Rokossovsky to Poland as defence minister and his wife went with him. Valentina's stage and film career was no longer successful. Simonov and Valentina married - she bore him a child. But things were never really right between them, and the marriage did not last.
